The 2002 Colts Colourguard

Established to simply do an exhibition at the Sport of the Art Show and to introduce young students to color guard, the Colts performed on March 23, 2002 for the first time ever. The Music of Aerosmiths "Walk This Way"
rocked the stands as the Colts trotted into the hearts of all in attendance. The Colts were staffed voluntarily by Mustang members Tom Tarbox and Jenn Drake. The Colts also got plenty of assistance from many Mustangs throughout the few months they were together. Obviously the trademark beret and the rock image is being bred into the young people in the Mount Markham Central School District. The Colts is our 3rd  and root level of our 3 tiered educational system of pageantry arts at MTM

The 2003 Mount Markham Colts
As you can imagine, the second year of the Colts proved to be even better than the first. The 16 little brothers and sisters "JUMPED" onto the floor to Van Halens song of the same name and proved to be a crowd favorite yet again. The Colts were under the direction of Mrs. Abate' and special assistance from Heather Guyer, Courtney Howard and other Mustangs.
The Colts would join the Mustangs for the Memorial Day parades this year. (See media for photos)
