The 2007 season will be remembered as one of personal best record settings:. THE MUSTANGS HAVE ARRIVED.
Without a doubt, THE BEST GUARD AND TEAM EVER from our little communities. The foundation is solid, the ranks growing and the shows are just getting better and better.
How many cancellations can one group have from SNOW!? this season topped them all, down we were from the Clinton show (AGAIN!), Down A WGI Regional and for the first time ever we lost our home show due to the weather. 3 shows, rehearsal cancellations in the double digits, but here's some more record setters:
Our highest score regular season on 3/24 @ North Syracuse.
Our first time breaking 70.00 on the A class sheets (3/24)
Our first time breaking 70 at a championship ( 3/31 NECGC, Rochester)
And our team personal best championship score with a 73.40 and yet again, the Mustangs come home with a medal for their work and dedication.
The Mustangs graduate 2 members this year, Karylanne Kelly (former Mustangs of the Year in 2006) and Stephanie Lounsbury (Mustang WMVP Award winner in 2007). The ladies and gentleman have grown so much that it's sometimes easy to forget how long of a road it's been.
